BSU Holds Training on Scientific Resources and the International Impact of Research Publications

The Quality Assurance Center of Baku State University (BSU) held another training session titled “Effective Use of Scientific Resources and Enhancing the International Impact of Research Publications.”

Asiman Ilyasov, BSU Rector’s Advisor on Quality Assurance, delivered the training, focusing on ways to improve the quality of research activities, effectively use modern scientific resources and academic databases, systematically search for and select scholarly literature, and enhance the international impact of research publications.

Participants were provided with information on using reliable academic sources in research and publishing, identifying and evaluating relevant scholarly literature, and increasing the visibility of research articles among the international academic community.

The training also covered approaches to selecting suitable journals for publishing research articles, evaluating journal metrics and indexing status in international academic databases, and increasing the citation impact of research publications.
