On October 2, 2026, the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) and Kapital Bank jointly organized an event for Kapital Bank’s small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) clients titled “Access to the Azerbaijani Capital Market: New Financing Opportunities for Businesses.”
Held at the Baku Stock Exchange, the event aimed to familiarize SMEs with the financing opportunities available through Azerbaijan’s capital market, as well as the “Development Segment” introduced under the Exchange’s new listing rules.
As part of the event, Farhad Mansurov, Head of Listing at the Baku Stock Exchange, delivered a presentation on the Exchange’s new listing rules, the key features of the Development Segment, and the more accessible listing requirements designed specifically for SME companies. He also highlighted the opportunities that capital market financing can create for businesses seeking to support their growth and development.
The event was conducted in an interactive discussion format, allowing participants to gain practical insights into accessing the capital market, explore available financing opportunities for their businesses, and address their questions directly to the expert.
This initiative, implemented as part of the cooperation between the Baku Stock Exchange and Kapital Bank, contributes to enhancing SMEs’ financial literacy, raising awareness of capital market opportunities, and encouraging greater interest among businesses in alternative financing instruments.
