On October 2, 2026, Khazar University and the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) jointly organized a seminar titled “Exploring Azerbaijan’s Capital Market: Current Landscape and Future Prospects.”
During the event, Emin Aliyev, Chief Economist of the Baku Stock Exchange, provided an overview of the current state of Azerbaijan’s capital market, recent development trends, and the market’s future prospects. The seminar also featured an exchange of views on the role of capital markets in the economy, key financial instruments, and the factors influencing the development of the market.
The seminar provided a valuable platform for students to broaden their knowledge of Azerbaijan’s capital market, gain a deeper understanding of existing market opportunities, and engage in discussions on potential directions for future development.
As part of its ongoing cooperation with higher education institutions, the Baku Stock Exchange continues to implement educational initiatives aimed at enhancing knowledge and awareness of capital markets. Such initiatives are particularly important in promoting financial literacy among young people and fostering a better understanding of the opportunities and role of capital markets in Azerbaijan’s economy.
